The opening ceremony drew a remarkable gathering of dignitaries from both Taiwan and Vietnam, who together unveiled the Taiwan Pavilion:Eugene Hsiao, Chairman, Taiwan Automotive Electrical Parts Association (TAEPA); Chin-Fa Chen, Chairman, National Federation of Automotive Parts Commercial Associations of the R.O.C.; Chuan-Kai Lin, Associate Director, Chan Chao International Co., Ltd.; Kin-Hang Lau, Deputy Department Manager, Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd.; Tsung-Yu Chen, Head of the Economic Division, Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Ho Chi Minh City; Wen-Ling Yu, Director, TAITRA Ho Chi Minh City Office; together with local Vietnamese industry partners — Do Phuoc Tong, Chairman, Ho Chi Minh City Association of Mechanical–Electrical Enterprises (HAMEE); Duong Danh Tai, Vice Chairman, Vietnam Association for Supporting Industries (VASI); and Le Ky Nam, Vice Chairman & Secretary-General, Vietnam Mechanical Industry Association.

A full house — every exhibitor together on stage

On opening day, representatives from all 33 exhibiting companies gathered with our VIP guests on the Taiwan Pavilion main stage, holding their brand signage for a group photo — a symbol of Team Taiwan standing ready to expand together into the Vietnamese and ASEAN markets.
