Taiwan Pavilion Showcases Full Supply Chain Strength at VietnamPlas
Vietnam International Plastics & Rubber Industry Exhibition
Vietnam Plas 2026
2026 ( 08.21)
29 Taiwanese exhibitors across 378 square meters of exhibition space
VietnamPlas 2026 — the International Plastics & Rubber Industry Exhibition in Ho Chi Minh City — will take place from September 9 to 12, 2026, at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC). Organized with the support of Taiwan's Bureau of Foreign Trade (BOFT), the Taiwan Select Pavilion — led by the Taiwan Mold & Die Industry Association — brings together 29 Taiwanese exhibitors across 378 square meters of exhibition space. Spanning the full plastics and rubber supply chain — from forming machinery and testing instruments to raw materials and finished products — the Taiwan Pavilion is one of the must-visit highlights of this year's show.
Vietnam: A High-Growth Market Where Taiwan Holds a Strong Foothold
Vietnam has risen to become Taiwan's second-largest export market for plastics and rubber machinery, with export value reaching USD 89.96 million (11.88% market share) in the first eleven months of 2025. The fundamentals are compelling: Vietnam is home to approximately 2,200 plastics companies, with a market volume of 11.84 million metric tons in 2025, projected to grow at a CAGR of 8.35% from 2026 to 2031 — the fastest-growing plastics cluster in Southeast Asia. A 40% year-on-year surge in infrastructure investment is driving demand for raw materials, and with Vietnam's petrochemical upstream still underdeveloped, the country continues to rely heavily on imports. Taiwan, as Vietnam's third-largest import source and a consistent top-three supplier of plastics and rubber machinery, is exceptionally well-positioned to capitalize on this momentum.
